A skyline reduced to a rumor on the far side of open water.
Seen from low on the water, a city skyline sits as a thin gray silhouette between a broad streaked sky and a bay creased with swell. Haze flattens the towers into shapes barely darker than the air behind them, while the foreground water holds most of the frame's weight and texture. The monochrome treatment keeps attention on distance, scale and the slow horizontal bands of cloud.
