Granite Monolith Against Darkening Sky
Weathered granite holds the last of the light while the sky goes to ink.
A pile of rounded granite boulders, split by deep vertical fissures and pitted with weathering hollows, rises toward a single capstone at the summit. Low, hard sun rakes the stone so every crack and pocket reads, while a polarised sky drops to near black behind it. Shot from below, the composition makes a modest desert outcrop feel monumental in pure monochrome.
