Succulents in Shadow's Geometry
Spiralling leaves catch what little light the shadows allow.
Two rosette-forming succulents fill the frame in monochrome, their stiff, tapering leaves spiralling outward from tight central buds. Soft directional light rakes across the nearest plant, picking out the ridge of each leaf while the second rosette and the surrounding foliage fall away into near-black. A study in natural geometry, where structure and repetition matter more than colour, and the darkness does as much work as the light.
