No. 129MonochromeFlora
Petals in Monochrome Abundance
A crowded bed of blooms dissolving from clarity into shadow.
A tight vertical study of massed chrysanthemum-like blooms, photographed in black and white. The lower flowers hold crisp detail — needle petals, tufted centres, curling tips — while the upper rows soften and sink into near-black shadow. Without colour the picture becomes an argument about texture and depth: pale petals stacked against darkness, the eye pulled forward by the one flower held in full focus.
